Sea trials and model testing : The Seaspeed trials unit maintains a wide range of instrumentation used for sea trials and model testing and is regularly retained to provide performance assessment, monitoring and data analysis.
Technical design support : The design office has a comprehensive suite of software, data and experience for performance predictions (powering, manoeuvring, seakeeping and shallow water performance), hull form development, structural design, engineering system design, technical assessments and new-build overseeing. Safety and risk assessments are provided and supported with an HSC incident database maintained on behalf of the UK MCA.
Vessel survey and valuation services : Seaspeed provides owners, investors and other stakeholders with HSC condition survey and valuation services worldwide, covering fast ferries of all sizes, ages and condition.
