The Maritime Group International (also known as TMG) is the holding group for an international consortium of marine consultancies and marine management companies. The Maritime Group (Europe) is part of this international group.
The Maritime Group International is today a premier global maritime consultancy, actively involved in international ferry operations & management and cruise & ferry terminal management. Among many other projects the group has provided advice to the government of Oman on new high speed ferry routes and port infrastructure and carried out a marketing study for the Government of Abu Dhabi. We have worked and are working with British and American government agencies and we are currently working with an international High Speed Craft (HSC) builder in developing new markets for these craft and work boats in the Middle East and the sub continent
The Group has expertise in port development and port management including cruise, conventional and high speed ferry berths, Ro-Ro, container terminals and dry, liquid, and bulk cargo operations. Port and terminal design, project management and construction services can also be provided.
The Group also offers complete Ferry and Cruise business start-up packages including market research, market analysis, detailed business plans, financial brokerage, operation & voyage planning, safety auditing, environmental management, crewing, maintenance solutions and vessel inspections especially HSC, Ropax ferries and cruise ships. Any of these elements can be provided separately, tailored precisely to meet the client's needs.
The Maritime Group (Europe) operates primarily in Europe, Russia, Africa, the Middle East and the Caribbean, though we cooperate with other regional offices when required. Consultation can be drawn upon from all of The Maritime Group International's regional offices, allowing for a global pool of expertise.
The Maritime Group (Europe) specialises in high speed ferry operation, management and business development. The Principals have many years of high speed craft experience and have contributed to the design and development of large high speed catamaran craft and hovercraft.
Other services include vessel and cargo surveys, and ISM & ISPS consultation and auditing. We also provide an in-house ship broking service (either S&P or chartering) and are available to act as expert witnesses in cases of litigation and arbitration.
